Ijeoma Benita Nwaogu is a young author. Born on 04/07/2004, she writes based on messages and lessons concerning girl child empowerment and believing in one’s capabilities. She started writing at 5 years and published her first book, ‘The Lost Girl’, at 8, becoming Nigeria’s youngest author in 2013. She published her second book at 12. At 17, she made history when she published three books (at a go) in the major literary genres: Poetry, Prose, and Drama. Her book, Dear Diary, has been translated into the German language. Ijeoma’s Notes From My Heart won the Akachi Ezeigbo Prize for Literature (Poetry) in 2024.
